    ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Freshman applicants who have successfully completed a college preparatory high school curriculum at a regionally accredited high school with a minimum GPA of 2.75 will generally be admitted to Brenau University.

    ADMISSIONS PROCESS

At Brenau, we believe in keeping the admissions process simple and direct. To begin an application for admission, students should follow the steps below.
    1. Submit an online application for admission at brenau.edu/apply.
    2. Request that official high school transcripts be sent to the Office of Admissions. They must come directly from the student’s high school. Official transcripts are accepted by mail, fax and email. High school counselors may also email transcripts directly to the student's admissions specialist or to documents@brenau.edu

    FINANCIAL AID

For many new students and their families, Financial Aid is one of the most important and least-understood aspects of going to college. With forms, regulations, and deadlines at every turn, it’s no wonder new students are often confused. The Financial Aid Office is here to help! They can be reached by email at financialaid@brenau.edu or by phone at 770-534-6152

We recommend that students begin the financial aid process as soon as they apply for admission.

    1. Visit fafsa.gov and complete the free application for Federal Student aid. This can be done as early as Oct. 1. Brenau’s FAFSA code is 001556.
    2. Both the parent and student must create a unique login (FSA ID).
    3. Eligible Georgia residents should apply for the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant and HOPE Scholarship at gafutures.org.
    4. Visit the Financial Aid Office webpage and Brenau's Net Price Calculator to see what types of aid may be available.
