    See What Transfers

Transferring credit for courses you have already completed will accelerate your degree completion. We accept up to 90 credit hours of transfer credit from other regionally accredited institutions if you have received a grade of "C" or better in the course.

    Academic Partners and Articulation Agreements

What is an articulation agreement? Articulation agreements are a type of educational partnership where a university agrees to accept certain credits that were earned at a different educational institution. Brenau has a variety of agreements with community and technical colleges to make transferring to Brenau seamless and help you complete your degree faster.

    Financial Aid

For many students, financial aid is one of the most important aspects of going to college. Our Financial Aid office has dedicated transfer counselors to assist you through the process. They can be reached by email at financialaid@brenau.edu or by phone at 770-534-6152

We recommend that you begin the financial aid process as soon as you apply for admission.

    1. Visit fafsa.gov and complete the free application for Federal Student aid. This can be done as early as Oct. 1. Brenau’s FAFSA code is 001556.
    2. Create a unique login (FSA ID) - if you don't already have one.
    3. Eligible Georgia residents should apply for the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant and HOPE Scholarship at gafutures.org.
    4. Visit the Financial Aid Office webpage and Brenau's Net Price Calculator to see what types of aid may be available.

    Tuition and Fees

Tuition is based on residency status and program. Please visit our Tuition, Fees and Accounting Office page for current tuition rates and fees.

    Payment Options

Tuition is due by the first day of each semester but we want to make paying for your education as easy as possible.

You may pay your balance after financial aid in one payment at the beginning of the semester or setup a payment plan with the Accounting Office.  We offer two payments per semester or a ten-month payment plan. Contact the Student Accounts Manager for information on how to setup your payment plan.

    Advising and Registering for Classes

Once you have been admitted, you will be assigned an academic advisor who will assist you in choosing classes each semester and also help you with other academic issues as you complete your degree requirements.

To begin the advising process and register for classes, you should schedule an appointment with your academic advisor as soon as you receive his/her contact information from admissions. These appointments can be done in person or over the phone.
