Why Brenau

Being a Studio Art student has helped prepare me for my future career by allowing me to have the opportunity to explore several different ways of art creation, and given me the ability to work in several different mediums and programs. I feel that I am well-rounded in my abilities and I can be confident with these skills as I go into the workforce."

Jordan Smith
Studio Art

Brenau gives me the opportunity to put myself out there without fear of rejection or failure. So many of my classes have encouraged active engagement and participation. I feel very comfortable speaking my mind and sharing what I think with others even if I think they may disagree with me."

Annabelle Lee
Finance

Within the mass communication program, I was learning how to be on the radio in my first year. Not many people can say that. I just really felt that there were more opportunities here for me at Brenau in my program and in what I wanted to do, then there would've been had I gone to another school."

Sydney Hencil
Mass Communication

Throughout my time at Brenau, the one thing that stood out to me and made my experience unique was the close-knit family that was created by my professors, colleagues and mentors. With this community, I was able to produce my best work, be authentically myself and make mistakes."

Janan Mirza
Dance

Children are our future, and I want to help them learn, grow and succeed. Brenau University provides all the classes and resources I need for my degree, as well as helping me make connections and offering advice."

Annabeth Vandiver
Elementary Education

The faculty and my cohort were extremely supportive beyond the academic aspects of it. They were just emotionally supportive. Everything you needed, they were there. That was the best part of going here. This is the first degree that I have where I can go straight into working, and I'm just super excited to get out into the workforce and contribute to society."

Monique Smith
Nursing

I'm tremendously grateful for the support I've received from my fellow students and from faculty here at Brenau."

Katie Watkins
English

I've been in a handful of productions here so far, and I get to work with some of the best people. I really feel fulfilled when I get to work on not only a new project, but when I'm surrounded by like-minded people who enjoy what they do."

Bryson Ross
Musical Theatre

Embrace everything Brenau has to offer. It was genuinely the best four years of my life, and I'm so glad that I took every opportunity. I said yes to every door that opened and learned to grow from every experience. It has played such a big role in who I am today."

Kendy Manzano
Fashion Design

An investment in you

It's hard to put a price-tag on the true value of earning a degree from a private liberal arts college. That's why at Brenau, we work to provide affordable and accessible options for those interested in attending. In fact, over 95% of our students receive financial aid, whether in the form of merit, talent, state or federal. Students can receive up to $17,000 per year based on merit alone.

You won't be bored here

There is plenty to keep you busy on Brenau's 57-acre campus, set along the tree-lined boulevards of the Gainesville historic district, one of the Southeast's most vibrant and thriving cities.

With close to 50 student-run clubs and organizations, from Greek life to Athletics and more, you'll be encouraged to step outside of your comfort zone, and have a chance to learn about Brenau's strong sense of social responsibility, civic engagement and cultural awareness.

Golden Tiger Spirit

Competing in the NAIA, Brenau has a proud history of winning on and off the field. With an impressive multi-purpose athletic campus for our 15 intercollegiate teams, our students are able to enjoy a full college experience while balancing the classroom, athletics, and an active student life. Our Fitness Center is also filled with options for students to take part in a variety of workouts, including yoga, kickboxing, pilates and aerobic classes.
